The Honey Pies is an exciting collaboration of Madison-based music veterans. Jodi Jean Amble made a major splash in the Chicago scene fronting her eponymous band—nominally jazz, but equally at home with pop, country, and more—and as a member of the highly eclectic ensemble Jenny Dragon. Tom Waselchuk leads the MAMA Award-winning Americana band The Dang-Its and has performed for more than twenty years in a free-
swinging guitar duo with multi-instrumentalist Doug Brown. Doug has long been among the most in-demand freelance sidemen on the Madison music scene in a variety of genres, as well as being a band-leader, composer, and arranger. Matt Rodgers is among southern Wisconsin’s busiest bass players, equally at home in most any style of music.

A $10 cover will be charged at the door. All proceeds go to the artists.

Our very own cocktail artist, Tricia, will walk you through a brief introduction of tequila, before showing you how to craft 4 of our signature tequila cocktails!

In this 2 hour class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (we’ll even provide the apron ). FREE DRINK included with your class ticket!

This month we will be doing a Cinco de Mayo set.

You’ll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we’ll cover in class. We look forward to having you with us!

If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you’re trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in – we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, at least 4 icing colors and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate! You will even get a free drink with your ticket!

This class is on Monday, May 5th and starts at 6:30pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family – we have seating for up to 20 people! It’s a blast whether you’re coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

This class is good for ages 10+, but if you’d like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus – we’ll send you with the decorating steps so you can teach them yourself!
