information for Scheduled Performers

We are located at 550 Water Street in Prairie du Sac. You should plan to load in from the front door that’s by the main bar. However, if you’re performing on the back patio, you may load in from the rear of the building. If you need to get in touch with us you may call the main number at 608-370-6057 or email us here.

Stage & Equipment

Our performance area is small at a little over 100 square feet. We have a PA with QSC speakers and a Yamaha (12-channel) mixer available for most shows. We also have mics, cables, stands, and some other equipment that performers may use. We will do what we can to secure a sound tech for your performance but cannot guarantee that one will be on hand.

Timing

You may load in an hour or so before your performance. Set break timing is up to you. We simply ask that you read the crowd and use your best judgment regarding keeping our patrons engaged. Please don’t go beyond a half hour past the slated ending-time without speaking with management/staff about it first. Thanks.

Marketing

We submit our calendar of events to local radio/print media, but you may want to reach out independently to let them know about your show. Here are some links to the key media outlets in Madison that might help with attendance at our venue.

Please create a Facebook Event page and (if possible) add us (@waterstreetsocialclub) as a co-host. Please share this Facebook Event widely and do what you can to promote the show via social media with your fans/friends. We will use the image and information there for our website and other promotional materials.

Please print two posters for your performance and either drop them off or mail them to us about a month before your show.
